Podcasts Increase Health Awareness
Podcasts can be used to educate, encourage, share recorded panel discussions, and much more. They can be targeted to patients or health care providers making the possible topics vast.Podcasts American Society of Clinical Oncology
The American (ASCO) showcases how many topics that can be covered in just one organization alone. From main podcast page, they explain, “ASCO offers nine podcast programs covering a range of educational and scientific content and offering enriching insight into the world of cancer care.”One of their podcasts, Cancer.net is an awarded winning podcast that shared doctor-approved information on cancer-related topics. It is geared towards patients and their families to help them during a difficult time when they may be overwhelmed with information. This could be especially useful during long commutes to doctor’s visits or treatments.
